Today I had the privilege of networking with a large group of men and women who work from home. I couldn’t believe the variety of backgrounds and careers these individuals represented.

When I didn’t get to go straight to college after high school I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get as good enough job to support myself in the age of milk at $5.00/gal and gas at well over $4.00/gal. Well, I was right to a point. At my primary job I make a decent amount of money, but it just covers my expenses. I never have anything left. Working outside the home can be rewarding but for some moms, it can be a real hassle. I found there to be so many obstacles in the way of really enjoying my work and my family. I always felt that I was losing time with my children and was always looking for different ideas on how to remedy those feelings.
